Fletcher Allen Healthcare Cath Lab Fletcher Allen Healthcare is the largest health care facility in the State of Vermont. Recent upgrades in the building automation system had included the installation of a LonWorks network with Invensys controllers. When Fletcher Allen wanted to leverage the promise of “open” architecture, they called upon Hallam-ICS, the Authorized Building Control Specialist for Johnson Controls in the State of Vermont. One of Fletcher Allen’s goals was to be able to receive competitive bidding on any building automation system upgrade project. Having worked extensively with Lon technology for many years, Hallam-ICS was able to connect the JCI Lon Controllers to the existing Lon network. In addition, Hallam-ICS established communication with the Human Machine Interface (HMI) to provide graphics and alarming for the hospital facility maintenance staff. |
