South Burlington, Vermont, Taunton, Massachusetts,  Raleigh, North Carolina, and Manassas, Virginia.  Visit any of these cities and you’ll encounter a typical professional office building, with a strong brick and mortar architecture and shiny, streak-free windows. You’ll also find on each building a neat, uncomplicated sign that reads “Hallam-ICS.”

Typical on the outside, yes. But once you meet the people inside these buildings, it’s clear that Hallam-ICS is different than any other engineering firm you’ll find. For starters, we don’t think of our locations as separate offices. We tell people we have one big office…that just happens to have some really long hallways.

Many prospective clients make their first connection with Hallam-ICS after being referred by current customers. Others have done independent research and discovered on their own what Hallam-ICS can do. In fact, if you spend some time at our website, you’ll eventually come across just a few of the company’s merits: “Most Innovative Mechanical Solution Recognition Award,” “Merit Award for Engineering Excellence,” “AIA Design Award,” “Business of the Year Award,“ and “Recognition for Teamwork.” All good to know indeed, but these recognitions are not in plain sight on our homepage as a statement of superiority, but rather quietly placed within our company’s history, several pages in. It’s not about what the we have proven in the past after all. It’s about what we can do for you in the here and now.

The cornerstones of Hallam’s philosophy are “Listening, understanding and delivering.”  It’s a philosophy that has served many well.
