After leaving the Navy in 2018 I began pursuing my degree in Construction Management at Wentworth Institute of Technology. After about two years I began to realize I was working towards a degree that would remove me from the hands-on technical aspect of things that I really enjoy. I decided to take a job building electrical control panels and got back into the technical side of things that I was missing from my time as a Sonar Technician. I found Hallam through some military networking contacts and was immediately impressed with the customer base and the positive attitudes of the employees. After a few interviews and an offer to follow, I was eager to join the Mansfield team and continue to grow as a technician. Working for a company like Hallam has made it possible for me to spend the time needed to stay involved with my family and also be effective and engaged professionally.
Not only are the people great to work with, but the projects I have been involved with have been engaging, which I enjoy, keeping me constantly learning both in the field and in the office.
