My Hallam story began very differently from most others in our company. After twelve years of working as an electrician, I felt it necessary to make a life-changing decision that would benefit my family and advance my career. I decided to return to school and began searching for a company that provided a work-life balance.
The opportunity to join Hallam arose and I couldn’t have been any luckier. I joined the Malta team in October 2015. I started when we were deep in the middle of a Global Foundries project. The transition was short and sweet and I never looked back.
In my short time with Hallam, I have grown professionally and contributed to the company’s successes. As member of the Hallam team, and a team it truly is, I have experienced a culture like no other. Hallam’s environment is relaxed, resourceful, and personal. It promotes a healthy atmosphere.
Since Hallam encourages a work-life balance, I actually have a little bit of spare time. I enjoy spending that time with my wife and two-year old daughter (we have another on the way), my family and friends. I also enjoy playing basketball and landscaping and, my cousin and I formed an unbeatable cornhole team!
