OFFICE MANAGER – South Burlington, VT

Overall Activities: We currently have an opening for an Office Manager in our South Burlington, VT office. If you are a positive, flexible, team player who enjoys variety and helping others, we have a great growth opportunity we’d like to talk to you about.  In this position you will actively ensure the smooth running of our Admin Dept. and the general office on a daily basis, joining our Admin Assistant in providing all levels of Administrative support. We anticipate future opportunities for growth and additional responsibilities within the HR department.

ENGINEERING LEADER – Malta, NY

Overall Activities:

The New York regional office was opened in 2011 to serve the needs of clients in the region. We are growing and in need of a qualified candidate to lead a new team of engineering professionals. The ideal candidate should be an energetic, personable, intrinsically motivated individual, with a PE, who also has an entrepreneurial spirit. CONTROL SYSTEM ENGINEER - Malta, NY

Overall Activities:

We are seeking a control system engineer to join the Hallam-ICS team in our Malta, New York office. As a member of our Controls team, you are responsible for designing, installing, managing and/or maintaining equipment used to monitor and control automation systems and machinery. You have the opportunity to put your skills to work programming PLCs, HMI’s, VFD’s and SCADA systems and assisting in proposal development. Additional experience with networking and virtualized environments is desirable but not required.

  • 5+ years of experience in control system integration

Overall Activities: We currently have an opening for an Electrical Engineer for our Middletown, CT office.  The candidate will be involved in multi-discipline engineering projects for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, higher education and research facilities in Southern New England, designing electrical systems, lighting, power and performing Arc Flash Analysis.

  • BSEE degree or equivalent

North Carolina

ELECTRICAL DESIGNER – Raleigh, NC

Overall Activities: We currently have an opening for an Electrical Designer for our Raleigh, NC office. The successful candidate will have experience working in project teams, successfully engaging with and satisfying clients and be excited by the opportunity to expand and grow our business.

This position involves performing Arc Flash Analysis and Power System Studies primarily in large facilities as well as designing electrical systems, lighting and power.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of design experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess good self-management, technical and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to coordinate with different engineering disciplines and the desire to work in a small, self-directed team environment
  • Proficiency in SKM Power System Tools, AutoCAD and other software design tools, as well as familiarity with both current good engineering design practices, the National Electric Code and NFPA 70E for building electrical systems is preferred.
