After spending the last 12 years working for other MEP consulting engineering firms in the area, I joined the Connecticut office of Hallam-ICS in January of 2018. I was looking for a different challenge than the typical building MEP engineering. Keith Flaherty reached out to me directly and I initially thought it was just another headhunter with one of those “wonderful” opportunities that I was getting bombarded with non-stop so, I ignored it. Several weeks later I was about to delete the email when I decided to see where this Hallam-ICS recruiting firm was from. I was shocked to see who they were and that it was actually the CEO that was the headhunter wanting to talk to me. The timing wasn’t right but, I kept thinking about it and several months later decided to reach back out to hear what they had to say. My biggest regret so far is not making that call sooner.
