"COTS is grateful for this generous gift from Hallam-ICS. We are honored by Chuck Rainville's nomination of COTS for this award. We will use this donation to support families and single adults who are facing homelessness in our community by providing emergency shelter, services, homelessness prevention, and affordable housing. In our family shelters, we provide specialized children's programming to help reduce the negative impact and trauma of homelessness on the youngest Vermonters"

"I am nominating COTS in Burlington as a recipient for Hallam’s 40 Weeks of Giving. Hallam-ICS and I personally have been supporters of this organization for many years. Back in the early 90’s Hallam-ICS was a consultant to Duncan-Wisniewski Architects on a project to renovate the St John’ Hall into resident spaces. Working on this project opened my eyes to the COTS organization, their mission and the housing needs in our area. COTS has remained important to me and the Hallam family. Over the years many of our employees have participated in the annual COTS Walk and COTS has welcomed us during many of our annual service days where we have cooked meals for their day station. They are a worthy organization, working hard for nearly 40 years to house less fortunate community members."
