During my last semester of Architectural Engineering Technology at Vermont Technical College in 2021, I was preparing for final project presentations and final exams. Having previously graduated from Hudson Valley Community College for Electrical Engineering Technology in 2016, I was a non-traditional student. My senior project presentation, at VTC, was an Intergraded system building design (ISBD) that included Architectural, Electrical, HVAC and Structural. I oversaw the Electrical aspect of the project, because I had more of a background with electrical than my fellow group members and included renewable energy on site and off site. My Professor invited many different Engineers to the presentation. Bill Neuburger, Hallam’s Director of Engineering, was one of the invited Engineers. After the presentation Bill was impressed with my presentation. He reached out to my professor to have me apply for the Electrical Engineering position at Hallam-ICS. That’s how I was recruited to the Hallam Team.
