New call-to-action

Eric Cassidy | Electrical Engineer

I’ve always thrived when working on math problems.  I went into engineering because I wanted to apply mathematical principals, to real work problems.  Someone told me awhile back that to be an engineer, you must be a problem solver. I want to work on problems that face our society today and leave a positive impact on the world around me. My job with Hallam gives me the resources, flexibility, and encouragement to work on projects I’m passionate about.

I’ve been in the MEP engineering world since 2018.  I’ve found it to be interesting, challenging and rewarding thus far.  There is so much to learn, and I look forward to becoming a subject expert in the electrical industry as I continue to learn and grow. I’m part of a friendly and experienced team here at Hallam. One of my goals while I find my place in this team is to be like a sponge, absorbing as much knowledge as I can. One of my favorite phrases is that there’s no such thing as a dumb question, and that is a philosophy that is shared among my team.  I enjoy collaborating and working with others to do the best job possible.

My approach to electrical engineering focuses on safety, efficiency, and sustainability.  I’m particularly interested in the evolution and future of energy use. I look forward to focusing my professional career around this complex and challenging industry. I was particularly interested in joining Hallam since they have a strong social mission and have similar values to my own.  It’s a great team to be a part of, and I feel fortunate to have been welcomed to be a part of it.
