Ervin Meneses
Client Solutions Manager
With Hallam-ICS Since 2025
I was born and raised in Santa Ana, CA, a city centrally located in Orange County. Right out of High School, I went to Union College, a small liberal arts school located in Schenectady, NY, where I graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. While at Union, I was fortunate enough to study abroad in Prague, Czech Republic, compete in the SAE Aero Design Competition, and develop long lasting relationships with my fellow peers, faculty, and staff.
After graduating in 2015, I got hired by General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) through their Engineering Leadership Program, where I my first three years rotating between positions in electrical/systems engineering and business development across their Greensboro, NC and Quincy, MA facilities, while also pursuing a degree at Penn State in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control & Power Systems. I had the privilege of working on and launching to market a wide range of autonomous underwater systems such as the Knifefish, Bluefin 9/12, and SandShark vehicles. I encourage people to look them up, they are cool vehicles with interesting applications.
I’m grateful for the experiences, investment, and opportunities that GDMS has given me, as they have helped shape who I am today as a person, engineer, teammate, and leader, but after 10 years in the defense industry I decided it was time for a change. Change can be scary for most people, but to me it's an exciting opportunity to grow and build something new! As someone who has the knack for problem solving and connecting with people, I was keen on finding a place with less red tape and more flexibility, but more importantly a place that would promote and utilize my soft skills to their full potential and allow me to play a key role in generating new business.
Like many others before me, I was contacted by Keith Flaherty and to be honest, I had no idea who he or Hallam were, but after chatting with him, Jamie, Kristian and Vin, it became clear to me that Hallam is a place that cultivates a culture of ownership, where the people and the company are synonymous, but more importantly Hallam is a place where people are valued and their voices heard, which perfectly aligned with what I was looking for in my next venture.
I'd like to thank Keith, Kristian, Jamie, and Vin for their vote of confidence and for bringing me onboard. I am excited to hit the ground running as the new Client Solutions Manager for the Greater Boston area.
