When I decided to join the Navy I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. The recruiter was really pushing me to be a Yeoman on a submarine…no thank you. Ultimately I chose the electronics field, a field that I knew nothing about at the time. I really enjoyed learning electricity and electronics and found that the training and experiences that I received from the Navy were very beneficial.
After the Navy I moved to Vermont and have been here ever since. I enjoy all that Vermont has to offer and found that it is a great place to raise a family. I have spent the last 23 years working in the maintenance and engineering departments of two local food manufacturers.
