In April of 1996 my life took an amazing turn when Tink Pelkey decided to hire me as a Controls Technician. Although I had a strong HVAC and Mechanical background, I had limited controls experience. I felt very fortunate to have the opportunity to enter into such a technical field with limited experience.
Hallam sponsored me into the VT state electrical apprenticeship. The mentorship, training, and experience allowed me to become a master electrician and strong technician.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of meeting some great people and developing wonderful friendships with my customers and coworkers.
I look forward to many more years at Hallam-ICS, now as a mentor myself, sharing my knowledge and experience with others.
I am very grateful that Tink took a chance on me 21years ago, allowing me to have such a fun and fulfilling career.
