Since I was young, I have always desired to be an electrical engineer, as I was fascinated by the evolution of technology and how it could help people in their daily lives and continue to benefit and evolve society overall. After getting admitted to North Carolina State’s Electrical Engineering program, I easily remember my excitement upon realizing I was taking a massive step toward my dream. Though the following classes and semesters were difficult, I would never trade that experience nor the wonderful friends that I made throughout my undergraduate career.
Once I graduated and began to move forward, I started to better realize what I wanted to focus my initial career on. This was when I discovered Hallam-ICS, and I never looked back since then. The Electrical Designer role sounded interesting to me, and I was curious about Arc Flash. After applying to the position and hoping for a chance, I got my break when Brian Crosby asked me to interview. Once I was in the interview and heard about the role in detail, alongside meeting the friendly Arc Flash team, I knew that I wanted Hallam-ICS to be my next destination. Once I got the offer a couple of months later, I told Brian that I would gladly accept a role with the Arc Flash team. Now, I eagerly look forward to starting this new chapter of my life at Hallam.
