Siegfried Boyd Isidro-Cloudas| Mechanical Engineer

I grew up in a suburb of Fairfield County, VT as a child, and from a young age I showed interest in math, science, and engineering. It was to no surprise to my family that I was accepted to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute when I applied to the school in my senior year of high school. While at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute I engrossed myself deeply into my studies and even switched my major from mechanical engineering to a dual degree in mechanical and electrical engineering when my interests in other subjects grew. I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2017 after finishing my 5-year dual degree program, earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Electrical engineer. Not long after college, I started work at a firm that I had interned with as a mechanical engineer. It was there I learned more about HVAC field of engineering, honing my skills in drafting and design as a junior engineer. At this firm I not only learned to design and draft mechanical systems, but also electrical and control systems.

After 5 years with my previous employer, I decided it was time to move to a new firm to expand my experiences and technical expertise. It was at this time that I was hired by Hallam-ICS and have since worked on projects ranging from semiconductor fabs to wastewater treatment facilities.
