"This very generous $2500 donation from Hallam-ICS’ 40 Weeks of Giving will support our UNC Children's Say Yes Fund which supports the hospital's greatest needs at any given moment. While we proudly offer care regardless of a family's ability to pay, unfortunately, many families' financial strains get worse when their child is hospitalized. We are able to provide assistance to families who need help making ends meet while their child is under our care by purchasing medical equipment for children with special needs, giving parking and meal vouchers while a child is undergoing treatment, or funding a research project to find better treatments. The flexibility of this fund allows us to adapt to an ever-changing health care environment, ensuring we meet whatever challenge may lie ahead for our patients. Thank you Hallam-ICS for helping us “Say Yes” to our children in need—we are incredibly grateful for your support."
