I started with Hallam-ICS in May of 2015. Before that, I worked for 14 years as a property manager in Winooski, Vermont for a Massachusetts based architecture and property management company. After a certain turn of events I found myself home recovering from some temporary short term memory loss. I was bored and needed to do something to keep myself busy. A friend knew I had a knack for baking and asked me to help her with a project involving sugar cookies. With a pinch of this and a sprinkle of that, a business was born! I spent the next eight years working in my own commercial bakery creatively decorating cookies for any event you can imagine.
Once my son was in high school I felt like I wanted to get back into the professional work arena. I started looking for an office position outside the bakery. I had not heard of Hallam but, their posting for office manager sounded like a familiar fit for me.
After two and half years with Hallam-ICS and a newly empty nest (with a son in College) my husband and I decided to make the move from Vermont to Florida. Hallam, being the wonderful company that they are, worked with me to create an opportunity allowing me to work remotely in the role of Social Media Coordinator.
