In this metrology blog, you should notice a recurring theme between all of my posts: the critical reasons to calibrate all equipment. As we can see, the reasons for calibrating your equipment are consistent, regardless of what is being calibrated. Whether it is temperature, weights and measures, mechanical, electrical, pressure, mass, dimensional, flow, time, humidity, gas, or optical calibrations, maintaining your equipment is crucial for all the reasons mentioned above.
